In addition to, what others have said, this is not multi-directional antenna, it must be in the transmission towers of the station (s) you wish to receive will be notified. If they are all apart within a few degrees, you will have no problems. If they are observed in different directions, and people want to see the 3 TV channels in different directions at once, you have a problem.

Stephen M is a very important point. Here's another: What decent UHF antenna has a width, but the FM element is a real commitment. He could not get their way, and bent down to try to make it less directions. It is strange, because the UHF-area * very * directions. For the curve in fact some theoretical vs. VHF lost straight.

In short, this antenna is a compromise and not very good. As you leave, put the same amount of money in a better antenna and keep a rotor. With the need to DTV, install the best antenna you can muster.

Yes, you can in front of the TV after the amplifier to a 3-way splitter, then 3-TV. I have to install the ant. For over 35 years.
